 Here's a chance to enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the holiday festivities - in a short, feature-packed vacation that's perfect for families!
You'll not only see the famous parade in all its splendor but you'll get to watch it as it unfurls and inflates at the parade staging area on Wednesday afternoon.
We'll treat you to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, provide a warm indoor facility for you during the parade so you can escape inclement weather and grab a bit to eat!

Wednesday
|
 The holiday starts with a tour departing from midtown Manhattan to the Macy's parade balloon inflation and staging area - where you'll see the fabulous parade begin to take shape! Then we'll return to midtown to visit some of the famous window displays at department store like Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale's and Barneys.
This evening we can plan an optional dinner for you at one of New York's fine restaurants, or perhaps you can take in a Broadway show. Whatever your choice, we'll make all the arrangements for you so all you have to do is enjoy! |

Thursday
|
 You've seen it on TV, but it's not the same until you see it in person - it's the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! First, continental breakfast at Applebee's on 50th & Broadway, just one half block from the Parade. Then - step outside and join in the fun as the balloons, falloon, floats and bands celebrate the holiday season! You're invited to use the facilities at Applebee's during the parade - as a reprieve from inclement weather, or to get a bit to eat or drink, or to use the restrooms - a welcome relief during the 2 1/2 hour extravaganza.* This afternoon you can view the City from the top of one of its two famous skyscrapers, the Empire State Building or 30 Rockefeller Center. Whichever you choose, admission tickets are included in your Thanksgiving Staycation package.
It can't be Thanksgiving without a traditional turkey dinner, so we've made reservations for you at a Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner. Dinner starts at 7:30 and includes all the trimmings, so come hungry!

|
 This morning you'll have breakfast with Santa himself, right at Times Square at the 42nd Street location of Applebee's.Includes scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, pancakes, bacon, toast, and orange juice, tea or coffee, All taxes and gratuity and one Polaroid picture per person.
Afterwards you can visit the American Museum of Natural History, the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of the City of New York with the free admission voucher we'll provide you.
Of course, there's so much more to do in the City so plan on staying longer. We'll help you arrange accommodations, tours, museum admissions, sightseeing, Broadway shows, Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets, sightseeing and meals. Make this a great start to a wonderful holiday season!

 Wednesday Afternoon Balloon Inflation
Wednesday, 2:30pm until approximately 6pm
We'll take you by motorcoach to the festive area where the Parade begins to take shape. You'll see the grand balloons being inflated, take lots of pictures and perhaps hear commentary from parade veterans. Afterwards we'll take you back to midtown via an abbreviated Holiday Lights tour. Roundtrip motorcoach is included, along with the services of a professional tour guide while on the bus. The balloon-inflation area is self-guided. |

 Stay Warm at Applebee's
Thursday, 8am-11:00am
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on 7th Avenue – with the convenience and comfort of an indoor facility at your disposal where you can relax, unwind, have a bite to eat or a warm beverage, use restroom facilities, and escape unkind weather! You’ll have use of the entire venue and restroom facilities during the parade. Although there is no view of the parade from inside, you can come and go as you please. Applebee's is at 50th Street and Broadway, just 1/2 block from the parade route!
Breakfast service begins at 8am, prior to the parade which will pass on 7th Avenue, just 1/2 block from Applebee's. Food and beverages will be available until 11am.

 Thanksgiving Dinner and All the Trimmings
Thanksgiving Day at 7:30pm.
Enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet with all the trimmings at the Manhattan Club at Rosie O'Grady's, 53rd Street off 7th Avenue.
Dinner includes a traditional carved turkey with all the trimmings - potatoes, vegetables, salad, gravy and cranberry sauce - and a delicious dessert with soda, coffee or tea. Tax and gratuity is included. Dining is "Open Seating" at tables of 10 so you will have the opportunity to meet other guests. Cash bar is available. |
