One of the most successful ships in U.S. history is now one of the most unique attractions in New York City.
Berthed on the Hudson River in Manhattan, the museum boasts educational exhibits and exciting events. Building on the long and distinguished history of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, the Museum provides a glimpse back to a time when the future of the free world hinged on these great ships.
The new USS Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex is a unique journey through spectacular, educational and interactive exhibits that utilize virtual, multi-sensory technology. Boasting new exhibits, 30 newly restored aircrafts, interactive elements, newly opened areas of the ship and the Space Shuttle Pavilion featuring the Enterprise, the USS Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is stationed along side the former USS Growler submarine and British Airways Concorde. Her home at Pier 86, open to the public, has also been completely renovated and now features a welcoming, park-like atmosphere.
Space Shuttle Pavilion (Included in your admission)
Intrepid's newest exhibit, the Space Shuttle Pavilion, has been engineered to express the shuttle program's stories of human triumph and technological feats. Dare to dream as you become immersed in this up close experience with Space Shuttle Enterprise.
Within the Intrepid Museum’s Space Shuttle Pavilion, Enterprise sits just 10 feet off the ground, allowing visitors to walk directly underneath this historic artifact, while an elevated viewing platform allows guests to gain even greater perspective.
The Flight Deck
Get a up-close look at nearly two dozen aircraft, visit the restoration tent and take a walk through history on Intrepid's island and bridges. The Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum has the most varied and unique aircraft collections in the nation. All four branches of the United States' armed service are represented, as well as several distinctive aircraft from around the world. From the Avenger torpedo bomber, a stalwart from Intrepid’s World War II service, to the A-12 Blackbird, the redoubtable spy plane from the Cold War, the collection reflects some of the greatest achievements in military aviation.
The Concorde was the only operational supersonic passenger transport in the world. One of the few existing Concorde planes is on the flight deck of the Intrepid.
The Concorde crossed the Atlantic flying at speed upto 1,350 mpg. The Concorde would arrive in under three hours, or less than half the time of any other jetliner flying that route today.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, the Inrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum brings in their new exhibit, Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience! This will be the first time a museum in the United States hosts such an immersive "Trek Tech" experience, spanning 12,000 square feet.
