 The Merchant of Venice
Al Pacino will be starring in an extremely limited engagement of The Public’s "The Merchant of Venice", currently playing at the Delacorte in Central Park as part of their Shakespeare in the Park summer season. The show will play the Broadhurst Theater from October 19 through January 9 - only 78 performances, so you know this will be a hot ticket.
Of this summer's production of the classic play in Central Park, Wall Street Journal's Terry Teachout says, "Not only is this the best 'Merchant of Venice' I've ever reviewed, but it's one of the finest Shakespeare productions I've ever seen, period."
