Everything has its season and this season, Pippin returns to Broadway for the first time since it first thrilled audiences 40 years ago!
Pippin tells the story of a young prince on a death-defying journey to find meaning in his existence. Will he choose a happy but simple life? Or will he risk everything for a singular flash of glory?
The Leading Player tells us the tongue-in-cheek story of Pippin, son of the 8th-Century King Charlemagne, who is on a quest to find his true calling in life. The score includes "Magic To Do," "No Time at All," "Corner of the Sky."
The original Tony-winning production was directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse; this one, with choreography in the Fosse style, also features astounding acrobatics.
