Chris Lucas was our tour guide on the trip we booked which included tickets and bus service to and from the Yankee game. We only expected transportation, but Chris did an excellent job on giving us many facts of the upper north side during the tour. Taking his time to point out facts of interest as we went. Most of our vacation was planned south of 52nd street so it made this portion of the trip very meaningful. Chris went well beyond our expectations, not only was he very knowledgeable about the Yankee's but also the upper north side of the city. Everything was fantastic. Probably the best part was our walking tour of Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty with guide Georgiana. She was spectacular - we could have walked around with her for days! She, alone, would have made the trip worthwhile.
It took us a few days to recuperate and we're still going through all our pictures but we've all decided we would go again and definitely will book through your company. You made it so easy - all we had to do was show up and have fun!!!"

"Beth, Got back last night from our trip to NYC. What a blast! Other than a much smaller room than I remember from our trip 2 years ago, everything went perfectly. The gentleman that did our tour from the hotel to Yankee stadium (Chris Lucas) was the best tour guide I’ve ever had in any city on any tour. He was able to show us sites from the hotel to the stadium and also a history of the Yankees. (I understand his father has worked in the Yankee organization for over 50 years). Anyway he was fantastic. The shuttle service (Super Shuttle) was a little disorganized going back to the airport but for the price all and all it was fine. (Much better than the last time when the driver texted the entire drive.
I’m pretty sure we’ll be using you again. In fact if you could work up a price for a trip back in early Dec. for 2 (both over 62) for about 3 or 4 day I’d like to see it. NO RUSH because it might just be a dream.

Everything we planned through you was first class:
- the Sheraton on 7th Ave was the perfect location (we were glad we didn't pick some of the other hotels that we had found searching on our own but that when we saw where they were during our visit were not as optimal of a location...you helped ensure we ended up in the right location)
- the 4th of July barbecue, tour and boat trip for the fireworks was fantastic (my only suggestion would be maybe to use a smaller boat company that can go further up the Hudson for closer viewing of the fireworks....we were on a large boat and the one furthest from the fireworks...the Captain of the boat said that because he was a bigger boat he had to stay further away per direction of the authorities....though he did give a great scenic cruise though up the East River and out around the Status of Liberty enroute to the Hudson River that we also really enjoyed) and the NYCVP host/tour guide made it a wonderful event
- the Broadway tickets were fantastic...we had great seats for Jersey Boys
- the Super Shuttle connections from/to JFK worked just fine
- the lower Manhattan walking tour was great (I sent a separate note to tourguides@nyctrip.com complimenting our tour guide Chris Lucas
- the vouchers provided us with nice options and were easy to use
- all of the booking and informational emails from Beth were very timely and of great assistance

Thank you so much for making our vacation to NYC so special and effortless! We only experienced one problem, and that was our fault. When we typed the hotel's address into our GPS we had to use 6th Avenue because Avenue of the Americas wasn't listed, and we inadvertently selected 6th Avenue in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan. Needless to say, we got quite the motor tour of the city and two trips through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. In the end, it worked out really well because we got to see parts of the city we wouldn't have otherwise seen. In addition to a great laugh, it gave us a good story to tell when we got home.
The hotel you selected for us was great and so convenient to everything we wanted to do. As a bit of info for you, the parking garage at the Hilton is operated by Central Parking, so we were able to park at the hotel and use our parking certificates with only a small additional charge because of the size of our SUV. Upon check-in, the clerk knew we were concerned about the bedding being "full" rather than "queen". (I wasn't sure if you had mentioned my concern to them when you secured the reservation?) The clerk graciously offered a roll-away bed if we desired, and insisted on waiving the additional $30/ day charge! However, the room was spacious and lovely, with the bedding very comfortable and more than adequate for us and the kids. It couldn't have been any better! We LOVED The Lion King and all the additional activities you helped us add to our package. We chose to view the Top of the Rock late in the evening and the view with the lights was spectacular! Our son truly enjoyed his graduation trip and hasn't stopped talking about it.
We are so glad we found you and we will certainly recommend you to any friends and family who are planning a trip to the city.

There were only 6 of us for the tour and I was afraid that the tour would be canceled; but I am so glad Georgenia came! It was a very informative and enlightening tour and Georgenia was very professional, knowledgeable, as well as enthusiastic..... as if it was her first tour! It was almost like she got a kick out of seeing the sights through the eyes of her tourists...over and over again! We have one suggestion. We participated in a tour sold as a "walking tour of ground zero". In fact, the tour was far more than that. It was an outstanding tour given by your guide Hal Glicksman. We think you need to rename the tour so that the name better represents all that is shown on the walk. We did, indeed, see ground zero, but we also saw Wall street, the area in lower Manhattan near ground zero and parts of mid-town where the tour started. We received more than our money's worth.

We had front row seats as the boat was the first in line next to the firework barge. The food on the boat was good as well. Very satisfied with our experience there.

"Celia - Fences was awesome. Probably the best play on Broadway. Denzel and Viola were amazing. At the end of the play, the applause was so loud you could not hear yourself think. On Friday, we went to the Blue Note Jazz club in the Village to see Dee Dee Bridgewater.
Our flight on Sunday was canceled so we spent an extra day in the big apple....... okay, we caught a cab to Chinatown, walked to Little Italy, SOHO, NOHO, Eastside, Village, and then a cab back to Mid-Town...I'm still tired.. Overall, another great anniversary weekend.

"Celia, We had such an amazing time, I don't even know if I could pick my favorite part! I would have to say that, being one of the most patriotic people in America, I really appreciated the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island package! It was amazing because we were able to walk through at our own pace and once the guide, I can't remember his name but he was really funny, got us to the Statue of Liberty he said we were on our own. It was nice to be able to look at everything and take it all in at our own pace. We eve climbed the million step to the pedestal! WHAT A VIEW!!!
Also, I loved being able to walk to the Phantom of the Opera show from our room. The show was AMAZING! I am so glad that I talked Richard into sitting thru it. The cool thing also, we were there during the 75th NFL Draft so we went and saw a lot of NFL coaches and personnel outside of Radio City Hall! That was really cool for Richard! We had soooooo much fun!!! I can't wait to go again! Hopefully next year! Thank you again!! I'll e-mail you when we are ready to go again!!"

"The Big Apple was wonderful, the whole trip was great. So much to see, lots & lots of walking. We took the subway & smiled & spoke to the locals, walked in the snow, saw a show (Jersey Boys), had a ride through a snowy Central Park in a horse & carriage, went to fabulous museums (not enough time), went in a water taxi to see lady Liberty & the Brooklyn Bridge, ate NY pizza, saw Ground Zero, went to mass at St. Pats Cathedral & renewed our wedding vows (yes he still wants me), drank strange beer (served with a slice of orange), sat at a moody bar & had night caps, etc. etc. Yes I think you could say we rather enjoyed it all.

"Celia, We had a wonderful time in NYC! The weather was beautiful -- we had the weekend between two snowstorms. The Hilton was all you said it would be and we loved The Lion King. Due to parking concerns at Penn Station in Baltimore we cancelled our train reservations and took the Megabus instead. Forty dollars each round trip -- a real deal! All in all, a wonderful and special way to spend our birthdays.

We (Sonya and Iva) want to tell you how much we enjoyed the Vacation you planned for us. This traveling duo had an awesome vacation to New York July 4-8, 2009. The Warwick is perfectly located in Manhattan…right in the middle of everything. Our accommodations were comfortable and quiet. Everything and everyone we met was very nice.
Our only "near death" experience happened on the commute from the airport to the hotel. We were not prepared for the "bumpy ride" and near misses encountered in New York traffic. None- the-less we made it to our destination in one piece. It was thrilling and death defying.
We took four bus tours: Downtown (Wall Street, Macy’s, the Seaport) and Uptown (Central Park, Harlem) …to mention two. Our various tour guides were great. The guides told us historical or rarely known fact about the city. Each shared a bit of their unique experience living in New York as part of their very informative and funny commentary. Additionally, who knew so many movies and TV shows filmed on location in so many different sections of the city. Whoa.
We visited St. Paul’s Chapel and witnessed the amazing testament of the bravery and devastation of 9/11. We were so touched by this moment that we did not take pictures in the Chapel. We allowed ourselves to feel the weight of the events (joyous and sorrowful) that occurred here.
The food…Oh My…Wow…tasted sooooo…ggoooood! NUF said!! Well there was that $50 breakfast. Other than that…NUF said!!
The Empire State Building was intriguing, fascinating, and had all my (Iva) butterflies fluttering about…. (Sonya) for a long moment just stood still.
The Broadway musical, Wicked, was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! We (the entire audience) loved it (as in 3 standing O’s). We floated back to the Warwick on a high that lingers still. Prepare…we will ask you to match or replace this high with another (we’re smiling) wonder vacation...this one (New York) will be darn near impossible for you to surpass.
Hopefully, we were able to capture through the camera lens the breath taking moments we experienced.

The only bad part was that the hotel did not have roll away beds and there was no air in the rooms only heat....34th floor gets way to hot, even in the cold weather. Their lobby, restaurant and bar were all under construction so we were disappointed with that.....inconvenient, but minor. I just wish the hotel would have let us know ahead of time. Oh well. Back to the good............IT WAS GREAT.....I HAD A BLAST, ate to much, spent to much money....but had a blast and I LOVE THE CITY. Our trip to NYC was FABULOUS--no complaints. The food at the Marriott Marquis breakfast/brunch surpassed my expectations as did Thanksgiving dinner at Rosie O'Grady's. I am not much of a buffet style person--but the food was good. And, my children, ages 20, 18 and 16 enjoyed all the food--their only comment was that my stuffing is much better.
We got great photos of the parade from the Marriott.
Also thoroughly enjoyed "West Side Story". My oldest daughter is majoring in dance and thought the choreography was outstanding.
The weather was great too--which helped make it more enjoyable walking around the city for shopping and sightseeing. After being somewhat persuaded and dragged to "Top of the Rock" my younger two teenagers liked it after all.
The tour of city lights was okay--except we were not impressed with the tour guide who seemed quite disorganized and a bit disoriented for being a Native New Yorker, but the windows were fantastic and unique--so it was ok and we walked back from Macy's.
After booking the trip I read some rather negative reviews about the Sheraton New York. We found it clean and the staff friendly and most helpful. Yes, the rooms were small, but I have never stayed in a large hotel room in New York--even when traveling to the city for business. Last time, my daughter and I stayed at the Novotel and I might prefer to stay there again next time.
NYCVP makes it easy to plan a trip to the "Big Apple."

It was a wonderful five days and four nights and worth every penny! The Sheraton New York is a fabulous location and the private parade viewing was wonderful We got breakfast AND lunch! Decided we wanted to get out on the street to hear the music of the bands (our viewing room was soundproof), however, after about thirty minutes in the fray, we quickly came back up to the private viewing area in the hotel.
The holiday Christmas lights tour was terrific (the tour guide was a loud and obnoxious New Yorker who got better when we asked him to turn down his volume!).
We shopped, the kids ice skated, went to the NYC public library recommended by my daughter, saw the balloons inflated (rainy and cold that night), loved the parade, the tours and used coupons for the Top of the Rock. Went to the wax museum, shopped our brains out at Macy's, and had a wonderful time.
Thank you for putting this trip together. Our limos were always on time, the drivers were polite....everything was just plain WONDERFUL!!!!! Never hesitate to recommend this packager to anyone!"

One interesting thing was that we didn’t realize the parade route had changed from Broadway to 7th Ave, right past the front entrance to the Sheraton NY hotel. As such, we didn’t need to use the Appleby’s deal – we just grabbed a location only steps away from our hotel. I made a short walk to the 53rd St. Deli for breakfast to go and went across the street from the deli for Starbuck’s coffee ...
Our Ground Zero tour guide gave us a card with his name (Marc Landman) and an email address (copied here) to provide feedback on him. Marc was great – personable, informative, and more than willing to answer questions. We would recommend him in, well, a New York minute.

"Just to let you know... EVERYTHING was perfect !!
The check in at the hotel was a breeze, and they were even able to take them in early. Their room was on the 27th floor, with a fantastic view of time square. The room was' just like the website' according to my parents. The tour bus took them to watch the balloon's get inflated and also accommodated the several older guest that had difficulty walking. They watched the parade from the viewing room,, said that the brunch was incredible. Although they initially said that no one could sit at the window,, the staff brought over chairs for some of the gusts to sit,, my mom was one of them and was very thankful. They arrived early to the viewing room, expecting it to be overly crowded, but it never became more than 3 persons deep at the window. They left on Friday, after stopping at Macy's to see Santa Claus and the winter wonderland set.
My parents drove up from New Orleans and arrived in Fleetwood, PA to stay with my husbands parents, who later drove them to the Beiber bus ( commuter bus), which took them into NY, (Port Authority, bus station).
We will definitely be recommending this trip to others. This was a present for my mothers 70th birthday and everything was fantastic. Thank you,"

"NYCVP, Recently I took my son for his first visit to NYC and a visit to the Statue of Liberty was a part of our agenda. My wife could not make the trip this time, so I was very happy to send her a text message stating that Darryl was our guide again. Her response: "Wow! The same guy?! Great! He was a lot of fun!"
Having Darryl as our guide was an unexpected bonus. We are from FL and thoroughly enjoy his dry, New York wit. Also, my wife and I are working professionals and we recognize and appreciate service which excels. Darryl epitomizes this and we do not take this for granted. Specifically (and this applies to both of the tours we've experienced), he:
- was punctual
- gave clear instructions
- repeated the instructions a couple of times for people who were inattentive or just confused
- ensured that all of his group made it to the subway, onto the train, off of the train and through the line
- gave us some interesting background info during the train ride
Then there came what my wife and I call "the handoff". That's the line where one person's responsibility ends and another's begins. Darryl clearly let his group know when they were about to be on their own and what their various options were.
One last thing. During our first tour there was an event which caught our attention. The line was fairly long that day and a small group of people had apparently weaseled their way to the front of the line rather than joining at the rear. We did not see this but we did see Darryl locate one of the authorities (NYPD perhaps ... don't remember ...), bring them to the weasel group and directly point out "THAT one, that one, that one and that one". These people were sent to the back to, presumably, try again. I told my wife "Well, how's THAT for in-your-face?!". She replied, "He's a New Yorker; they're very direct."
Tell Darryl we both say "Hello". He'll remember us, we were both wearing "I <heart> New York shirts" !

We loved everything from the broadway show "Wicked" to the garment district tour. We also managed to go to the Metropolitan and to get to "Ground Zero" among other sites. The hotel was in a great location and we walked as far as we could including Times Square, 5th ave. Madison ave. and the fringes of Central Park. We caught the subway and even managed a small trip to Soho. Even though I initially booked the garment district tour with another company I'm glad that it didn't work out. The tour guide from Gotham tours was quite knowledgeable providing tours to a good mix of design locations for all ages. She was even so gracious as to help us find the location of a new shop in Soho that was a "must see" for my daughter. Please keep using them if you can.

Our two reasons for NYC were Phantom and carriage ride in C.P.: Had second row seats at "Phantom of the Opera" and it was sensational. Even though seen twice at Wang Theatre in Boston, this was simply great. My wife and I both said we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Simply Fantastic evening. Dinner at Langan's and Phantom.
Carriage ride in Central Park was great. Wished longer time but driver pointed out lots of things and let us feed the horse and was very pleasant. Once finished we took a stroll in park. Wife wants to got back and spend a day there.
"Top of the Rock" was great with a bright sunny day and clear views in every direction. So good we did not go to Empire State building, maybe next trip.
Dinner at Cafe Nicole was very good plus had a terrific view of Times Square from about the fifth floor. Langan's was very good, Planet Hollywood lunch was nice. Breakfast at Lindy's was very nice, and we went back another morning. Never made it to Applebee's.
The NYCVP tour guide for Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island was hilarious and kept everyone laughing. Darryl was his name I think. But he didn't make clear when he was turning us loose and I think he missed out on tips. Did a great job explaining everything and getting us on subway and to the Statue. The standing in line for security was way too long. Actually found my family name on one of the displays at Ellis Island.
As for parking, there was a CENTRAL PARKING garage at 1335 Avenue of the
Americas. Right next to the Hilton New York and the Sheraton. Not sure these were on the list provided but that made it easy. A pleasant surprise cause I thought 57th street was going to be closest parking.
Room at Hilton was small and this was surprising since the desk clerk said he was upgrading the room to Hilton Honors. But the bed was very comfortable. We slept great. I was not impressed with Hilton at all, next time we'll try Sheraton next door. Besides Sheraton faces 7th ave and right next to Lindy's. I guess hinting about anniversary meant nothing.....LOL.
Hard to believe it's over since we had been looking forward to this for quite a while.

Loved the Edison and the location. Would stay there again for sure. Would loved to have seen Wicked, Billy Elliot or Carnage of God. As it was, we picked up some 1/2 price tickets for two other plays and enjoyed them and the cheesecake afterwards.
Really liked the Harlem tour and I would spend more time in Harlem next
trip. The guide was truly excellent and bilingual as well. Not a requirement for us, but we hear French so much here that it was a nice and unexpected touch.

"I don't know how you did it, but we had 1st and 2nd row seats for the shows. What a blast! We were right next to the conductors and they both interacted with us. Ted was ecstatic. It took us hours to calm down after they were finished. Billy Elliott is a must.
We did Guggenheim, Met, Amer Natural History, Empire State, Statue of Liberty, FAO Schwartz, Stage Deli, etc. The line at MoMA was too long. Just no time even though it was across the street from the hotel.
...Hotel was first class. We easily walked to the shows and much else.

"Celia, I have to tell you just how much we all enjoyed our holiday in New York City. IT WAS TOTALLY MAGICAL!! I really don't have the words to tell you just how much fun we actually had. The guide, Georgina, for the Ground Zero and Statue of Liberty was so informative for all the little things we didn't know or have forgotten about. We all give her a 10. We did South Pacific which was very good and we also picked up tickets to Wicked. The show was so amazing it left us speechless! The weather was great. I do have to tell you we were out late one night, the huge snowflakes were in the air so we decided that was what Christmas in the city was all about.
We did have issues getting home, but that was totally the fault of the airlines. They need to polish their communication skills with their customers. We ended up getting a limo ride to Green Bay from Milwaukee.

The Palace Hotel was fantastic and would highly recommend it to anyone
staying in Manhattan. Same goes for seeing South Pacific. We enjoyed the show so much we also saw Jersey Boys while we were there, which was also great. Andrea also did a good job of stimulating the economy of SOHO, China Town and Little Italy.
The tour of Ground Zero, Statute of Liberty and Ellis Island was very surreal for me, and maybe my favorite part. We ended up taking over 6 hours doing that. The Empire State building and Rockefeller Center were also amazing. I had seen most of this stuff when I was 11 years (over 39 years ago), but all much more impressive as an adult.
Andrea and I also enjoyed the carriage ride around Central Park and lunch at Tavern on the Green. I must tell you the Tavern on the Green was the most disappointing part of our trip. Although the atmosphere was very nice, the food was so-so at best, and the staff worked very hard to portray the rude and obnoxious attitude New Yorkers are famous all over the world for. Actually, that was the only time in our 5 days there we experienced that attitude.

The Walking Tour of Ground Zero could not have been better. My husband is a firefighter and was very interested in this tour and our guide Marc Landman did an outstanding job! He gave so much information and insight through the whole tour. We had a very small group --which was very nice and were able to have that personal attention on the tour. We saw Mamma Mia and had incredible seats and enjoyed the show so much! Also the 2 day ticket for the sightseeing buses gave us a chance to see all of the sites we wanted.

First of all our booking agent Joby Tuminelli was very helpful and provided us all the information and options we needed/wanted. The process was easy and assuring.
We purchased a Yankee package from NYCVP. The bus ride hosted by Chris Lucas was invaluable. He provided us much more than a bus ride to the Yankee game. He provided us some insider tips we would not have known otherwise (i.e.: Celebrity homes, movie locations, schools etc...) and also gave us a tour of buildings etc... that we would not have seen. His story telling abilities were very enjoyable. The transportation to and from the game was very smooth. We were traveling with children and I was concerned that it would be complicated but the tour went smooth for everyone.
I will definitely recommend NYCVP to others and check you out again on our next trip to New York!

"I recently attended the Yankees/Blue Jays event with my 8 yr. old son and I wanted to pass along some accolades to NYCVP for providing the perfect experience for us both to share in the magical moment of being able to watch our favorite team (Jays) at famous and historical Yankee stadium. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, it was made that much more special by Chris Lucas. He was an amazing tour guide, he took us on a wondrous ride through the city on our way to Yankee stadium along the way he provided a fantastic overview of the city's history and it's local residents. He made it so interesting and entertaining that my 8 yr. old seemed to be focused on his every word of every story he had to share with us. Chris was also very accommodating and helpful at every moment during the whole time he was with us, super individual!
We stayed at the Sheraton Towers on 52nd and we were quite pleased with the accommodations and the level of service the quality was great, very clean. Overall we had a fabulous time in NYC and we have NYCVP to thank for it all. I would consider purchasing a similar package in the future.
P.S. Only one disappointing issue, had to pay $5.32 to get our NYC package at the hotel business center, not sure why the cost of the courier was not absorbed.

"Hello, My dad and I were part of the tours to the Yankee games on August 29 and 30. Both guides were very good, but Chris Lucas on the Saturday afternoon game was especially excellent. We enjoyed his extensive knowledge of the city as we drove through it, and of the Yankees history. We felt that as part of the tour we were getting some extras that we would have missed out on had we simply found tickets and transportation on our own.
Big thanks also to Joby who helped us get organized and didn't mind answering my 1000 questions leading up to the trip.
The only downside was that the tour bus didn't collect us from our hotel, the Double Tree in Jersey City, so we had to make sure to be at the Sheraton at the appointed time. For some reason I thought it did. I understand now why the bus leaves only from the Sheraton, it is in the middle of the action in midtown, and is a manageable distance to drive to the stadium. Either I misread this part of the package, or it is something to make a point of mentioning more clearly in the documentation.
Other than this minor thing, the entire package was great, it was the first time either of us had been to NYC and will surely be a weekend we look back on fondly. Thanks for a great time!"

I would first like to give praises to Travel Agent Beth Tenenbaum. She was tremendous in helping me plan and achieve a dream of mine since 1974. That dream came true on Friday June 20, 2008. I attended a baseball game in Yankee Stadium where my boyhood hero had played before his tragic death. That hero was Thurman Munson, catcher, just like I was at 9 years old. Mrs. Tenebaum was patient, honest, helpful, and hard working keeping up with the changes I would make and the emails I would send. I cannot thank her enough for my first trip to New York City and to that ballgame. Her suggestions of transportation to and from the airport were outstanding, the choice of hotel was a perfect place and her no pressure attitude to let me tell her what I was wanting and then she made it so it would happen. For a small town, and I mean small town (Goggle Madison Florida some day we are really small) boy like me to go to his boyhood hero's ballpark and see his number retired and plaque in Monument Park was almost too much for this country boy. I probably cried 6 maybe 7 times in the ballpark.
Next I must sing the praises of Chris Lucas. How lucky can a guy be to have the most knowledgeable person about the Yankees tell me all about them on my way to the Stadium. He was great. He was beyond friendly, his was a fan that wanted to give his knowledge to me so I could understand. He was amazing. I do have something maybe the tour could consider for the future. Because of his vast knowledge and willingness to share that knowledge maybe the group could leave earlier from the hotel and allow him more time to talk about the Yankees and the different sights on the way before getting to the park and maybe get to the park when the Yankees are beginning batting practice. Please don't get me wrong it was GREAT when we got there. It just seems Chris has so much knowledge and insight you should be given more of an opportunity to share that. And the people would be able to see the entire Yankees team take batting practice and warm up and run around and not just the last remaining 4-5 players. Just something to think about. I must tell you though Chris was patient and waited some extra time at the hotel for people who were supposed to be on the bus but never showed up. He was great. Chris, the tour, the Stadium, it all was amazing and the GREATEST trip I've ever taken.
I will go back to New York and I will use your company again. I hope that I will be able to use Beth as my representative. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her work and effort and the work and effort of Chris. They are great assets that made my first trip to New York a most memorable and meaningful one. "Dear Beth, I have just returned home from a lovely Fourth of July weekend in New York. I would like to thank you for arranging everything and making this vacation possible. Everything worked out without any complications or problems, just like clockwork. If you could arrange it, I could arrive in NY on Friday evening (Sept.19), and stay a a hotel for two nights, Friday and Saturday the 20th. Checkout would be on Sunday, Sept, 21.

The second thing I wanted to ask is about the Thanksgiving Day Parade package. There was a family from Pennsylvania on the tour that did this once and they recommended it to me. They mentioned that they had a Brunch at the Marriott Marquis hotel where they were able to see the Parade on their way to Macy's. For this particular tour, I could arrive in NY on Wednesday, November 26 , stay overnight , but I probably would have to return to NJ on Thursday evening. Right now, I do not know if I can have Friday off, but I will try to get Friday the 28th off so I can stay longer. I hope you can do just one night at the hotel, just in case I can't stay over on Thursday.
I hope I am not too late in requesting these activities.

We have been meaning to write but have been busy with an illness in the family. I would like to take a minute now, however, and thank you again for making our vacation in New York just fantastic. We were there the week of April 21 and signed up for two tours through AAA. First, let me say that New York exceeded everything we expected. The city is clean and the people very friendly. We love it and plan on visiting again.
Our first tour was a walking tour of Ground Zero and the Brooklyn Bridge. As it turned out, our family (all 3 of us) were the only ones signed up for the tour. We didn’t know what to expect but the tour guide, Hal Glicksman, took lots of time with us, gave us a lot of history and local information and made the tour very special for us. He also gave us some dining recommendations that turned out very well. We would like to thank him again. What a great guy!
A couple of days later, we took the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island walking tour. I can’t recall our tour guide’s name now, but she was great. I do remember that she is a Mets fan. She took us to Wall Street before we boarded the ferry, so we got an extra treat on that tour also.
This was the only vacation we have ever taken where everything was perfect. Nothing went wrong and we would not change any part of it. Your tours helped make it that way. Thanks again."

"My name is RP, my wife and I just got home from our first trip to New York City. I went through my local travel agent, Central Travel in Findlay Ohio. They set my trip up though you. I can tell you that has been the best trip I've ever been on. Everything was set up great. The Hotel (Novotel) couldn't have been in a better location. Right in Time Square. Transportation from Airport to Hotel and back was also on time. (Blue Van) Both drivers were very nice. The Lion King ticket that you got us were awesome. FRONT ROW. The Greyline tour was great. The host on each bus knew their stuff. Where to go and where to eat. It was great hearing all the history about NY and all the buildings. Also in NY I got to see couple places, I've always wanted to see, Lady Liberty. and also where King Kong was hanging from (Empire State Building) What a view from up there. While there we also seen a taping of Dave Letterman.
The only hang up while we were there was the water was shut off, in the hotel on Wed. Jan 16 for repair and we wanted to clean up a little more before we went to see The Lion King. I just wanted to say thanks again. When we come back to NY city I will be booking with you again."

Everyone should visit New York at least once...We both loved lots of things about NY but we especially enjoyed the area around Central Park. My husband really enjoyed the talent of the young people that sing at Ellen's Stardust Diner. He is a teacher and loves young people. In fact, it was so amazing. We met one of his students from here, the Dallas area, on the streets in NY. He was also visiting there with his parents. We were shocked. Just that morning my husband had said to me, 'wouldn't it be something if we ran into someone we know?' and I was like 'Yea, right.' And sure enough we did. We saw them again at Serendippity. So fun."

"We had a blast in NYC!!!! Spamalot was one the best musical’s (Mama Mia maybe up there with it) I have seen. Our faces were hurting when we left and the seats were excellent. The double Decker bus ride is an absolute to see the city from a different perspective, while getting tid-bits of history. I have been to NYC many times and never done it...so glad we did! It also saves you cab rides, as you can get on and off at any time! We wandered the streets without plans on Wed and Thurs falling into Hell’s Kitchen and having great food at really reasonable prices. The fog lifted just in time for our dinner cruise on Saturday night ...We had big fun and met some really interesting folks, from locals to a barrister from Scotland. We ducked into a local brew pub during a Yankee’s baseball game one night and got a real taste of what baseball means to a NYC local…more fun...I am so glad we did this trip. It pulled Bob right out of his "I am 60 Funk!" We can’t wait to go back!! Oh..and a buddy up-graded us to first class as a gift to Bob…that was very cool! Thanks again for your help! The ride to NYC was comfortable and fast. We loved the Warwick Hotel. Although we arrived early, the hotel staff made us feel comfortable and they stored our luggage until check in time. We had time to take a leisurely stroll around the hotel and enjoyed lunch in a nearby Irish Pub. We took advantage of the free passes to visit the Museum of Natural History and the Empire State Building. We went downtown to the South Street Seaport and over to Ground Zero to pay our respects. I realize that planning too far into the future is difficult due to price increases and the like but I would like to know if you could help me set up a wonderful package for 5 or more that is affordable and a genuine NYC experience that I would like to see happen either during the Christmas/New Year’s holiday of 2008 or Fourth of July holiday in 2009. I would like to stay 10 or more days and I would like to see a Broadway show plus include the Harlem Gospel Tour, which I did when I was there. I would also like to be reminded of the amount required to book the trip and the time allotted to pay off the balance due.
