 Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Escorted Tour
The Statue of Liberty is more than a monument - she is a beloved friend, and a living symbol of freedom to the world. Ellis Island is the historic gateway to America, where millions of immigrants passed through between 1892 and 1955. No trip to New York City is complete without visiting the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. The absolute easiest way for you to visit Lady Liberty is on this escorted and guided tour departing from a convenient midtown Manhattan location.
This educational tour is hosted and escorted by an experienced, licensed New York City tour guide who will negotiate you through the masses, turmoil and confusion. Our guide will escort you on the subway. You'll have Priority Timed Access to enter the Liberty Island Ferry security. On Liberty Island you'll receive a special Monument Access Pass that gets you into the Statue of Liberty - the only way that you can actually get inside the Statue!
You will be able to view inside the Statue through a glass ceiling, and walk out onto the Statue’s observation deck to see the panoramic views of the New York City skyline and harbor. Then you may return to Battery Park or visit Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum on your own. Approximately 5.5 hours.

Ground Zero/Lower Manhattan Walking Tour

Pay tribute to this great nation as you learn the rich and exciting history of NYC and America. Tour the former World Trade Center Twin Towers (Ground Zero), the 16-acre site of unparalleled heroism. This moving and educational tour takes you through lower Manhattan where you will also see such icons as Wall Street, the Woolworth Building, and a virtual Skyscraper Museum.

Daily Itinerary
Friday
Arrive in New York City and check into your hotel. We can assist you in arranging transportation to the City, and can help you plan this evening's activity -- perhaps a dinner at a fine Manhattan restaurant! (Meal arrangements are optional at an additional charge.)
Saturday
8am - Depart for your Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Sightseeing Tour. Our tour guide will escort you via subway to Battery Park where you'll board the ferry to Liberty Island, explore inside the Statue of Liberty and then visit Ellis Island.
1-2pm (approximate) - return to midtown. Free time to shop, visit the Empire State Building Observatory or take the Rockefeller Center guided tour. We'll include FREE ADMISSION to your choice of one of these must-see Big Apple attractions.
Evening - no visit to New York is complete without seeing a Broadway show. Your NYCVP personal Vacation Planner will help you choose a show we're sure you'll enjoy ... Disney's The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, Wicked ... we have tickets to all Broadway performances! (Broadway show is optional and is an additional charge). See list of Broadway shows.
Sunday
9am - Depart on the Ground Zero/Lower Manhattan Walking Tour. Our tour guide will escort you via subway and lead you through the fascinating history of Lower Manhattan, including a visit to Ground Zero.
12:30pm (approximate) - return to midtown. Spend the afternoon at one of New York's outstanding museums, like the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the American Museum of Natural History. We'll include FREE ADMISSION to your choice of one of these world-famous museums.
